“By having good memories on every place you just visit,
you are building paradise in your own heart and your life.” ~ T Beta
Just a quick iPhone photo from Big Sur, California. I’d have to say that this is one of the prettiest spots on Earth that I have ever visited. What a gorgeous little piece of paradise and its history is almost as interesting as the location. This was originally a homesteader piece of ranching land in the 1800s (can you imagine?! :-0 ) and afterwards owned by multi-millionaires who vacated the property to move to Florida (Umm, why?) . It was eventually deeded it to the state of CA upon the death of the husband. What a generous gift; now we all can behold paradise, even if just from the upper walkway.
The weather here on the California coast is iffy. A marine layer of sunless, gray fog rolls in every day in the morning and lasts until 11:00 or so but today was mostly clouds all day long, with a little peek once in a while of blue in the sky. It is not the best for photography but hey, I cannot complain at all as I found Paradise today!
