“To be loved but not known is comforting but superficial. To be known and not loved is our greatest fear. But to be fully known and truly loved is, well, a lot like being loved by God. It is what we need more than anything. It liberates us from pretense, humbles us out of our self-righteousness, and fortifies us for any difficulty life can throw at us.” ~ T Keller
Orang ❤ !
My son had to work until 8 PM on Thanksgiving (bah) so I decided to occupy myself with a trip over to Phoenix Zoo. And the above lil’ bundle of sweetness was specifically the reason I went. I adore orangutans and had never seen a baby one in real life before….what is the word for adorable x 100???
It was not easy finding a “sweet spot” to shoot this from. The orangutans are now behind glass in a new enclosure. Shooting through glass is difficult enough but to add to the glare and reflections was some pretty dirty glass! And of course, you have to wait your turn and not step on people’s toes while trying to follow them around. I was happy that I at least got a few shots of Mom and baby that were workable, even though the sharpness is a bit lacking compared to my normal criteria. Adorableness trumps sharpness any day!
Have a ❤ -ly day and don’t mow anyone down at any of the Black Friday sales. 😉
