Movement

“In the midst of movement and chaos, keep stillness inside of you.”~D Chopra

This was shot against a black background (in shade) and the grasses were in sunlight so that plus the slow shutter created this lit up , smokey feel.

I noticed when I was shooting and reviewing this image in the viewfinder that the pretty severe wind was making for a lovely abstract of sorts with the grasses’ movement and played around with the settings until I created the effect for which I was looking.  It’s purely a fun capture,  I was not initially looking for this result. But many times photography parallels life and not looking for something and just finding it serendipitously is even more rewarding than finding something through intently searching.

    1. Thanks, Elissa!
I am quite sure you have seen lovelier images 🙂 but I am glad that you like it. I think the fact that it was on black and nicely lit (and the shape of the grass) contributed to the mysterious kind of look.
