Lilies remind me of back East where I grew up. They would grow wild in the woods, tall and colorful, between the greens and browns of the pines and scrub brush. I didn’t see lilies often down in the desert but now that I am in a somewhat cooler environment, I get to see a variety of different flowers, which is nice.
