Mask

“Do you not know that there comes a midnight hour when everyone must throw off their mask?”~S Kierkegaard

I find both forms of masks that people wear intriguing; the tangible and intangible ones.  It seems that almost all cultures have traditional masks and I’m sure that is based on acknowledgement of the intangible masks that we all wear at times.  And it is ironic that sometimes wearing a mask gives a person the freedom to reveal a hidden part of themselves that they keep “masked”.  Just another interesting aspect of the complexities of the average human being!  We all have our masks; sometimes they are even concealed from ourselves.

On another note, Happy Father’s Day to the Dads out there!
